You own everything that's yours: your domain, all your content, your images and your brand assets — and you can take them with you at any time. The design system and the code your site is composed from stay with us. That's a deliberate part of the service, not fine print: because we look after the underlying build, we can keep improving it, keep it secure, and keep your costs low — rather than handing you a frozen site to maintain yourself. If you need a website you own outright, our fully bespoke service is the route for that.

Your monthly plan includes managed hosting, uptime monitoring, security and technical maintenance, plus eligible improvements to shared sections already used on your site. Business and Business Plus also include the support allowance shown in their plans. New pages, custom functionality, substantial design work and changes beyond the included allowance are quoted separately.

Yes. If you need something specific — a booking system, a calculator, a custom form flow — we can build and integrate it alongside your Smart Build. We'll scope it separately and confirm any additional cost upfront before starting.

A bespoke build is designed and coded entirely from scratch — every element custom, which takes longer, costs more, and is best when you need deep differentiation or unusual functionality. A Smart Build composes your site from our proven section library, so we deliver faster, at a lower cost to get started, with the site managed and improved for you over time. For most small and medium businesses, a Smart Build gives them everything they need.

Your logo, brand guidelines (or your colour and font preferences), the copy for each page, and any photography you'd like to use. Missing some of that? We can help — copywriting support and photography recommendations are available as add-ons.

After the initial 12-month term, the service continues monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Because the site is hosted and maintained as part of the service, cancelling means we take the website offline — but you keep your domain, your content, your images and your brand assets to use elsewhere. The design and code that powered the build remain ours, as set out above.

Your plan includes a defined number of structured review rounds before launch. Foundation includes one, Business includes two and Business Plus includes three. We’ll confirm any additional work and cost before making changes outside that allowance.

Business and Business Plus include CMS-managed content for everyday copy and image updates. We continue to manage the underlying layout, code, hosting and technical maintenance.

Managed website hosting is included. Domain registration, renewals and business email are separate services unless they are specifically listed in your quotation.

Most Smart Build websites can launch within 2–3 weeks once the agreed content, imagery and brand information have been supplied. Delayed content, feedback, approvals or additional functionality can extend the schedule.
